Erstwhile
VXL ENGINEERS LTD. (VEL), a member of Birla Group of Industries, was set up in
Sept 1993 by merging Unitron Ltd with Universal Engineering, (a Division of
VXL India Ltd.). The name of VEL was changed to VXL Technologies Ltd. in Aug
2001.VTL is registered under the companies act 1956.
Universal Engineering had been pioneer and leader since 1969 in the field of manufacturing High Precision Mechanical Engineering Stores and Ammunition Fuzes.
